Basic rules for contributions
- relevant contributions are welcome - contributions related to SIP/VoIP which follow recognized standards shall not be rejected. The final form of adoption may differ from the original submission. - other contributions are accepted if KAMAILIO (OpenSER) users find them to be useful and does not provide existing functionality - if it is a patch to existing code, it has to be reviewed by maintainer - if it is a new module, it will be added on CVS and the contributor can become the maintainer or he can delegate someone else to do the maintenance for at least one year. The code might be reviewed by an old developer before admission, to ensure the best fit in existing environment. - if a maintainer is going to be unavailable for long time, someone else from existing members will be selected to take care of his part - solutions for delicate situations will be decided by KAMAILIO (OpenSER) management board - it is recommended to add enhancements as module, to keep the core small and clean - it is recommended to give meaningful names to modules and to exported parameters and functions - when the contribution is significant (new module or not a simple patch), the developer has to name the copyright holder for the code
If you want to contribute, send an email to devel (at) lists.kamailio.net. Patches must be registered to KAMAILIO (OpenSER) patch tracker
.
The next list is not updated frequently -- please check the CREDITS file from KAMAILIO (OpenSER) distributions for a more accurate version.
