The sipexer v2.1.0 has been released – a modern SIP CLI tool to facilitate testing and monitoring of SIP signalling servers:

Among changes and new feature:

  • added run-batch injection with --run-batch/-rb and --run-batch-interval/-rbi
  • added per-scenario credentials and optional targets through --auth-csv/-acsv
  • added optional in-dialog DNS re-resolution for connectionless UDP with --in-dialog-dns/-idd
  • extended --call-user to TCP, TLS, WS, and WSS, with separate user-two domain, local-address, and target options
  • generate new Call-ID and CSeq values for INVITE requests created by --call-self and --call-user.
  • buffer TCP, TLS, WS, and WSS input until complete SIP messages are available, preserving additional messages received in the same stream read
  • default sips: URIs to TLS and parse URI transport parameters without case sensitivity
  • reset reused SIP message objects before parsing new data
  • several other fixes and improvements
